I love this place!! The food is always on spot, the live music is always rocking and amazing, Dawn the Manager is by far the friendliest and amazing lady to run this place like a smooth machine, Ryan the bartender and sometimes waiter for sure the best!!! They just have it together and not shocked knowing who owns and runs this place. I tip my hat off to them to come downtown to make Abilene amazing more and more every year. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! The chicken sandwich and fries are my favorite!! But I promise you whatever you order it’ll be yummy!!

Abilene is getting better!!! And it’s because of this place!!! The BCBG is amazing! there is indoor seating, a covered outdoor patio, and even lawn seating with turf. Perfect place for adults with kids or a for night out with friends. Super accommodating with large groups too. LOVE the live music and DJs and how it’s conveniently located near other Abilene night life. Food is great. Options for everyone to choose from. I had the smash burger and it was so delicious. Heard they have brunch from 10-2 on Sunday- can’t wait to try! Our server was attentive but not over the top, a which was the perfect vibe. I could tell how hard the servers were working, most of them running back and forth trying their best to provide excellent service, which I appreciate. Overall, CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! Give it a chance!

From the second we walked into The Big Country Beer Garden, we knew this wasn’t just a place to grab a drink — this was the hangout spot.

Atmosphere: Outdoor vibes were on point — string lights, live music, and just the right level of background chatter so you can talk without yelling.

Drinks: Solid craft beer selection, local flavors that hit different. Braye went for the hazy IPA and called it “liquid gold.” Cameron’s lager? Ice cold and dangerously easy to sip.

Food: Don’t sleep on the burgers — thick, juicy, and they pair perfectly with a pint.

People: Staff kept it friendly, even when the place started hopping. You feel like a regular on your first visit.

We came on a Saturday afternoon, ordered the bahn mi "pork belly is healthy" and the steak frites. The bahn mi bowl was delicious and the steak frites had a nice chimichuri. We sat outside which is great. Lots of tables and plenty of seating in the patio. The have a stage for live music which would definitely add to the atmosphere. We loved it. We will be back!

I came here for a beer and burger after a long hike, and this place didn't disappoint.  It was later in the afternoon, and they weren't crowded.  The staff was friendly. Everything was also reasonably priced.  I could definitely see this place as a local handout for those who live in Abilene.  Seems like a great place!

We went to big country beer garden because of an ad I saw on. Wednesday Thursday and Friday at lunch from 11 to 2, Their sandwiches are buy one get one free. You can’t beat a deal like that. love the atmosphere. the outside patio and stage are absolutely wonderful. Inside was nice and cool. They have a full bar, waitresses were great. The food was fantastic. We did the Bahn Mi and the Nashville chicken sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back, hopefully on the BOGO!
